2. Toy maker Hasbro became more involved in the designs of the robots than in the 2007 film.  The film is made off of toys first sold by Hasbro in the 1980′s.
3. The film was recorded in IMAX. Shooting in the higher resolution of IMAX required up to 72 hours to render a single frame of animation
